If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. This page explains that right, how to use it, and how refunds work.
Who this applies to
This policy applies to consumers (people buying for purposes outside their trade, business, or profession) located in the European Union or European Economic Area who buy from Novel Bits at a distance, including through novelbits.io and our online checkout. If you are buying on behalf of a business, the statutory right of withdrawal described here may not apply.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 days from:
- Physical goods (such as a BleuIO dongle or a sniffer): the day on which you, or a third party you name, take physical possession of the goods. If your order is delivered in several parts, the period starts the day you receive the last item.
- Online courses and other digital services or content: the day the contract is concluded (the day of your purchase), subject to the digital content exception below.
How to withdraw
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision with a clear statement. The easiest way is to email us, including your name and order reference:
You can also fill in and return the model withdrawal form below. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is enough for you to send your communication before the 14-day period has expired. We will send you confirmation that we have received your withdrawal without undue delay.

Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments we received from you for the withdrawn items, including the standard delivery costs (except for any extra costs if you chose a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
For physical goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest. You must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your withdrawal to us. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Online courses and digital content (important exception)
For online courses and other digital content or services, you lose your right of withdrawal once we begin supplying the content or service, provided that you gave your prior express consent to begin during the 14-day period and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal by doing so. When you start a course in our learning platform, we ask you to confirm this before the content is unlocked. Until you give that consent and access the content, your 14-day right of withdrawal for the digital portion remains.
If your order also includes physical goods (for example, a course purchased together with a BleuIO dongle), accessing the digital content does not affect your right of withdrawal for the physical goods. You may still return the hardware as described above. The amount refunded for any returned hardware is the price shown for those items on your order.
Voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee on Bluetooth LE Unplugged: if you are not satisfied, return the dongles (unopened or gently used) for a full refund. This guarantee is offered on top of, and does not limit or replace, your statutory right of withdrawal.
